The Pivot Lab — First cohort
Moving in unmapped terrain using your own instruments.
The Pivot Lab is a nine-week virtual program for people who sense that something fundamental has shifted — and are ready to begin developing new navigational capacities rather than pushing harder on what used to work.
Not a course. Not a workshop. The beginning of a different way of moving.
Format
Virtual · Small group
Duration
Nine weeks
Sessions
4 group sessions + completion
Group Size
Nine people maximum
Dates
Founding cohort
begins Thursday,
September 10, 2026
Who This Is For
Defined by interior state,
not job title.
The Lab works across backgrounds — executives, founders, coaches, practitioners, anyone in genuine transition. What matters is not what you do but where you are.
-
Something that used to work has stopped working. You've tried applying it harder, faster, differently. It's not moving.
-
You sense the terrain has changed. The frameworks that built your success feel incomplete for what you're facing now.
-
You're not a beginner. You've done real work on yourself. You're not looking for a first introduction to self-development.
-
You're ready to work, not just learn. The Lab is not a lecture series. It asks something of you between sessions as well as in them.
-
You can work with a small group. Nine people. The container is intentional. Your presence matters to the others.
The Four-Session Arc
This is probably not for you if —
-
You're looking for tactics, templates, or a system to implement
-
You want answers more than you want new questions
-
You're in acute crisis and need immediate stabilisation — this work requires some ground to stand on
-
You're not prepared to do the between-session practices — they're not optional, they're how the work lands

1
Stay Lost -
Notice the Grip
You're in new terrain
Where are you pushing hard and not moving? This session brings you into somatic contact with the specific place where old patterns are holding. Not conceptually — in the body. The entry point to everything that follows.

2
From Grip
to Open Hand
What stays, what gets set down
What are you carrying that was built for a world that no longer exists? This session moves from pattern recognition to honest inventory — and from inventory to deliberate discernment. Not abandonment. Conscious choice.

3
The Body
as Antenna
Reading your
own instruments
The instrument was always there. The grip was drowning it out. This session makes it audible — body, attention, and the relational field as real sources of navigational information. Not soft. Practical.

4
Acting from
New Orientation
First movement
A three-move sensemaking process for genuinely new terrain: notice the lens you're automatically applying, drop into what's beyond the facts, sense what's emerging. The 45-degree shift, made operational for the first time.
Nine participants, three triads of three. In the weeks between group sessions, your triad meets for sixty to seventy-five minutes — peer inquiry following a simple protocol Dave provides. Not coaching. Witnessing. The triad is where the between-session practice lands and where real integration happens. Most triads continue long after the Lab ends.
Triads meet between every session.

What's Included
Eleven touchpoints across nine weeks.
Four group sessions
Ninety minutes each. Live, virtual, facilitated by Dave. Each session develops one core navigational capacity — in practice, not theory. Recorded for reference.
Four triad meetings
Self-organised peer inquiry in your three-person group. Sixty to seventy-five minutes each. Protocol and inquiry question provided by Dave after each session. Not recorded — the container is intentionally private.
Between-session practices
One specific practice per session interval. Not a menu — a single clear assignment. This is where the work lands in your actual life. The practices build on each other across the nine weeks.
Learning journal thread
Self-organised peer inquiry in your three-person group. Sixty to seventy-five minutes each. Protocol and inquiry question provided by Dave after each session. Not recorded — the container is intentionally private.
Completion triad + session
A final triad meeting for appreciation and naming the forward edge. Then a full-group completion session — harvest, celebration, and honest next steps. The Lab ends with a beginning, not a close.
Post-session materials
A short PDF after Session 1 introducing the terrain/map vocabulary and field navigation frame. Conceptual depth lives here, not in the sessions — sessions are for practice, not lecture.
A genuine beginning
at a first-cohort investment.
$750
The Lab is priced to be accessible as a first real step — not a preview of the deeper work, but a genuine entry into it. Nine weeks of real practice with a small group and direct facilitation from Dave.
Founding rate · Payment plans available on request
The first cohort runs at a founding rate. Subsequent cohorts will be priced higher.
The full $750 investment credits toward Tier 1 — the six-month Pivot Journey — if you continue within twelve months of completing the Lab.
Investment
The Lab runs with nine participants maximum — three triads of three. When a cohort fills, the next one is built from the waitlist. You'll hear from Dave personally before enrollment opens to anyone else.
The journey begins before the cohort does. Early enrollees receive advance work — reflections and practices with real standalone value — while dates are confirmed.
A sliding scale is available for the right fit. If investment is a genuine barrier, mention it when you apply.
